Sigma F80 Flat topped Synthetic Kabuki-Review

Hi, since I made a haul in which base make up took up the centre stage and since I have been wearing foundation to hide my recently neglected skin, I thought its high time I came up with the review of this item which has become my favourite. Yes, its the Sigma F80 brush. I have been planing to invest in good brushes. I even got two Of Vega professional eye brushes and was about to order the foundation brush when I saw that there was this incentive going on. So, I became an affiliate and received this brush. At the same time, call it luck, I also won Amber's giveaway and received another of this. So, now I'm a proud owner of two sigma brushes. *clap clap clap*

The brush is not really clean as I had used it and did not wash it when I clicked the photos.

Now my thoughts:

I never gave too much of importance to brushes. I knew it was important, but did not fully realize the implication until I received this brush. On first appearance I was a bit disheartened as in the images I had seen the brush had looked quite big. but no, its not very big and has a short handle. Do not despair. Its the right size to do the job reaching into all the crevices of your face, around the nose, under the eyes... so on. The bristles are densely packed and very very soft. These are synthetic and are quite washable.
I suggest cleaning the brush frequently. That way, it would be easier to clean because too much accumulation of the products is a real pain to clean off from the dense bristles. The short handle ensures that it fits into your hand and gives you a good grip. The thickness is just so right.
I have washed it several times and I never got any fall out of any kind and it did not leak color as well.

Price: $ 16 for this one.
What the company claims? ( from their website)
This exclusive flat top synthetic kabuki was designed to deliver a flawless makeup application. The Sigma Makeup F80 is a buffer brush that can be used to blend powder or liquid products. The short and dense bristles make it easy to buff your liquid foundation. The long handle adds comfort to your makeup application. The synthetic fibers are ideal to be used with liquid products and can be easily cleaned. Made of Synthetic Sigmax HD filament.

My take:
What I like:
1) This brush is so soft and dense which ensures comfortable use on the face.
2) It makes any foundation blend like a dream and gives an almost air brush finish. I was amazed at the glow it gave to my face. My skin looked so natural and beautiful against other brushes I used.
3) There was not a single fall out in my all the three washes
4) The structure is just very right.
5) the size of the bristles is just right to do the job. Neither too big, nor too small.
6) After cleaning I put in on a towel resting the bristle on the fold and keep it in a a place which receives most of the wind from the ceiling fan. The towel constantly soaks up the water while the air dries it. It dries within 7 or 8 hours in this summer. I don't know what would happen in winter though.

What I don't like:
1) these can be ordered only online. I am not very much comfortable with online shopping. Moreover, they accept only Paypal as far as I know. This is a big problem for me. Twice I did online shopping, I opted for Cash on Delivery only. So this is  huge problem for me.
2) The shipping charge is quite high.

otherwise I find no con. I dont mind spending a bit ( not way too 'bit') on make up brishes and these seem to be good option. but only if they had Cash on Delivery..... *sigh*

Do I recommend?  Yes I do. These are very good brushes as per my experience.

Shall I repurchase? yes. but I wont need to. With two brushes I am going to conquer every liquid foundation on earth. I would like to try their eye brushes sometime when I get rich :P

Btw, Sigma has come up with exciting make up palettes. I think you got to take a look. They are quite pigmented as I saw in Dulcecandy's Video on Youtube.
