Liz Earle Energizing Body Lotion

With winter around we all are looking at all the moisturizing lotions and potions. I personally look at them all the year round even though my facial skin is very oily in summer.  Even then, a light body lotion for my dry body skin feels good even in summer. Today I thought of sharing with you a body lotion which I liked. yes, it's Liz Earle Energizing Body Lotion.

Price and Quantity:  150ml tube for £17.00

What the company claims?

Directions of use:

Ingredients:

 My experience of it:
I was expecting a highly moisturizing lotion that would be quite heavy on the skin. Contrary to my preconceived idea, the lotion was very soothing and light. The claim that it quickly sinks in is very true. Indeed the lotion got quickly absorbed. I thought since it got quickly absorbed, the moisturization would not last long. but I was wrong. My skin stayed hydrated for almost throughout the day.
It also smells very good and typical Liz Earle-ish. Agreeable, herbal and light, yet not strong enough to give you an allergy.
I can not comment if it soothes rashes since I had none.
Texture-wise I can think of Himalaya Herbals Neem Protective Lotion. I felt they are quite close. But while the protective lotion did not work for long hours, this moisturizer does.
Boiling down everything into likes and dislikes:

Likes:
1) It is very lightweight.
2) Very soothing and free of harsh chemicals. it is herbal.
3) Spreads easily and smells delightful. Yet not very strong.
4) Keeps the skin moisturized for very long hours.
5) True to their claim, it sinks in quickly.
6) Good for even summers and mild winters.
7) The tube comes handy and would not spill over.
It has a feel good factor about it.

Dislikes:
1) As with all Liz Earle products this is pricey. 17 British Pounds for 150 ml of lotion is a bit too steep. With brands like Himalaya in India, I think this lotion is something I could do without.
2) I don't think it would be too good for winters.
That's all. I think this is a good product for all seasons except for winters. In summer if you want to pamper your skin with a lotion without feeling sticky, this is the one for you.

Overall except for the price, I am now a fan of Liz Earle. I have had an experience which has made me trust this brand more than ever. I'd write about it soon

What do you think? Have you tried this product yet?

The product was sent to me by the PR for review. But clearly, that has not affected my opinion.
