My most used makeups of March 2012

Favourite makeups/ Most used makeups:

1 Colorbar Nail polish in Blue Lagoon: What is summer without bright colors? Opaque in two coats and ready to brighten up my day, I am loving this one!

2 Bourjois Healthymix Foundation in shade 54: One foundation I have decided to keep buying throughout my life is this! I don;t know about MAC or other brands, but I have seen many beauty gurus declaring this to be better than Chanel or Dior. I haven't used any of those, but clearly get the feel of their rave. No matter what foundation I wear, I would go back to it.

3 Inglot Eyeshadow Base: Yes, it creases badly, yet I cannot help liking it for making my dark lids appear normal, or for the first time in my life, giving me the real pleasure of wearing nude shades, which never showed up on me before.Even if I'm not using shadpws, but only putting on liners, I love it.

4 Lakme Invisible Finish Foundation: Light, water based and close to my skin tone. Never cakey, I made my custom color by mixing 02 and 04 equally. This is not the solution for whole day wear in summers and would definitely melt. Still, because of the lightness of the texture, I prefer to use it in the evenings. For the price, I feel it;s a steal!
5 Lakme High Definition Eyeliner: I really don;t know how high definition it really is, but overall a nice product from Lakme which they have foolishly withdrawn. Review soon.

6 Lakme Rose Powder in Warm Pink 02: The cheapest and the best loose face powder in my opinion. Ok, not the best, but for the price payed, it's a hue quantity and quality-wise, a good one. It's a must have for me.

7 Maybelline Watershine Lipstick in Rose Jam: Watery in texture, light wieght, you won't feel it is there on the lips. Yet, this particular shade stays on my lips for quite a long time even after the glossiness is gone. It kind of stains my lips or works like a stain. The particular shade is neither too bright nor too subdued. Illuminates up my face in a jiffy! This would never go wrong for me. I guess, in two month's , the entire bullet would be used up. Yes! To finish up a lipstick is what I call an achievement!!

8 Lakme Eyeshadow Quad in Desert Rose: Neutrals to gorgeous, this shade is so versatile! I even use the lightest shade as a highlighter, just to perk up my skin tone. Talk about multi-tassking! no wonder I have hit the pan!

9 Colorbar I-Glide Pencil in Black: I have almost finished it up. Black, very black , which I love. Once it sets, there is no smudging. Been with me for quite a long time I think. Time to finish it up!

10 Faces Powder Blush in Rose Gold: A shade neither too dark, nor too light, not brown, neither pink, perfect when you can;t decide which shade to choose and when you want to look extremely not-made-up. Highly pigmented, can be layered to add colors to the cheeks, yet not over the top, this is a must have for me. Not recommended to very dark skinned girls because it might not show up properly.

So these are the makeup products I reached out for most frequently in March. What about you?

PS I am still on my empties project Coming back with it soon. In the mean time be ready for some more reviews.

    1. Go ahead! Yes, for skin that is oily, it doesn't keep oiliness at bay, but I wear it only in the evenings and set it with rose powder :P

  10. Ah! Lakme rose powder! It's an unsung hero for me. I use it all the time, but I don't think I've ever mentioned it.
I have Rose Jam too, but it doesn't last on my lips at all. But I have used up my Maybelline Autumn Rush lipstick as much as you've used this one. It really feels awesome when you're about to finish a lipstick!

    1. Hihihi! So true! May be Maybelline has some inconsistencies, becasue I have a couple of others in bronze strass and sweet wine. None of them stays put on my lips at all! Now, compared to this one, isn't it weird?

    1. That's too bad. I noticed the darker shades are kind of devoid of yellow or pink notes. They are rather neautral which may not be a perfect match for many of us!
