Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme wear: Sun Kissed

I had an epiphany! It dawned upon me that these days I am actually wearing nailcolors! Previously I would paint my nails only when there was an occasion. Blame it on my love for rules at schools. Besides, I prefer the hassle-free clean nails. I am always short of time and I HATE chipped nail polishes!  But Sally Hensen Hard as Nail Xtreme wear seems to an answer to that.

Having a big sister is an advantage. You can share the makeups that you are easily bored with( read nail paints). My sister is almost a nailphile and I happily took hold of her bottle of this bright nailpolish that SCREAMED ' IT"S SUMMER! TRY ME!'

I don't  like spending much on nail paints and Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Hard as Nails is quite pricey that way.. But this is the first time, I really think I have reached my dream texture!

What I liked about it?
One coat, it gives a shiny layer. The second coat gives that thick, hard and shiny finish I have always seen on beautyblogs, but never achieved myself.
As per the literature on it, I presume, these are supposed to be hard and long lasting which is true in my opinion. It has been more than four days and there is no chipping. A wee bit has worn off, but I am glad I did not have to remove them. Good for me because it saves my time and good for the brand, because it has earned my trust. So, I would like to collect a couple of these more.

What is not so cool?
  • Since this has a dense consistency, it takes time to dry. But once it's dry, it's really sets very hard. I would advice to apply a thin layer first and let it dry really well. If needed, put on the second layer on the next day.
  • Availability is an issue here. There are online sites that sell Sally Hansen, but haven;t located this particular range yet. Hope this is available soon, so that I can get hold of my favorite black. Who knows if it turns out to be my dream black Polish?
  • It's pricey. By that , I mean pretty pricey. My sis got this for around 10 0r 12 AUD

Overall I love this nail polish! Perhaps first time in my life I went head over heels on a nailpaint! Besides the color is great! It's so refreshing!

Caution: This shade draws much attention. So, be prepared if even strangers ask you where you got the shade from! ( Happened to me more than a couple of time by now . Weird huh?)

  3. It is a very pretty shade! I was going to ask you where you found it till I read AUD. LOL! Their price is pretty hiked up even in Australia huh? That sucks. :( The finish looks really good! But I'd go nuts with 4 days staying power, it's too long for me! I change my polish too often! LOL!

Ha, in Australia, makeups are really expensive compared to even Europe. Glad you liked it. Which brands do you prefer?

    1. Then I am really flattered!! You know what? Even I never thought of orange much, until 5 or six years ago I bought an orange nailpolish and a lipstick from Lakme. I guess it was Sabyasachi collection then. I fell in love with it :)

  11. Very nice! If you think that price is bad, Essie, OPI and China Glaze polishes are sold from $20 to $25 AUD! Hence why I haven't picked up any!
