Did the Flygion Dragon set me on fire? Chinaglaze Flying Dragon

What happens when dragons start flying? Well, I guess, Chinaglaze catches them and bottles them up to be called 'Flying Dragons'. Some time ago I shopped  from 365gorgeous.in .When I saw Chinaglaze I could not resist. I had used Chinaglaze before and almost a full bottle is there with me even now. Somehow, I never manage to wear my nail polishes right. Anyway, when I saw this beautiful Purple color, I just could not take my eyes off. And here it is

My experience
: It's a huge bottle of 15ml that would take me years to finish up. My first expression was a gasp! The purple has tiny blue beads that impart an elusive sheen to the nails.. The nail polish dries up instantly( almost) and you can safely put on several coats even if you are in a hurry.

Chinaglaze, doesn;t need an introducttion. They are known for their good quality and are free from harsh and harmful chemicals. That comes with the con, they don't last too long and starts chipping off soon.

The Ups:
  1. Huge quanity.
  2. Huge selection of colors which are available across several websites now.
  3. Dries pretty fast. Since black polishes are my staple and that is the only color I mostly wear, I think my next black would be from Chinaglaze.
  4. The brush is pretty long and does a good job.
  5. This particular shade is gorgeous! But then, most Chinaglaze shades are.
  6. I love the fact that the blue beads, kind of adds a special effect.

The downs:
  1. Chinaglaze is not cheap in any part of the world. I don;t like spending too much on nail polishes, although I always use good brands.
  2. Chips easily.
  3. The shade is matte. By that I mean totally matte!! I had put on almost three layers of top coat on top of the nailpolish. Moreover, since there are the tiny beads, they make it appear all the more matte.
  4. When I started cleansing, the beads started turning silver. yes, they lost their coatings. The beads were pretty rough and they left my nail surface a bit scratched up. But nothing that cannot be helped with a nice buff.
  5. Although listed under Neons, it sis not appear that 'neon' to me.
Price: 14 ml for 500 INR
Availability: 365goegeous.in, urbantouch.com, flipkart.com, etc

Do I recommend? If you are looking for a quality product and do not hesitate to pay, it;s for you. And if you are a nailphile, go ahead. You need toluene-free products for your nail obsession.
Shall I repurchase? After I clean up my present stock, yes! Definitely! They have some awesome shades of  red and a lovely blacks. I want them.

What about you? Have you used Chinaglaze? Did you like or dislike? Most importantly, do you slurge or save on nail paints?

  1. I know a store here that sells China Glaze for 375, which is the cheapest I've seen it. You should have seen how happy I was when I found it! LOL! Love the colour! Not one I would wear but it looks amazing! Flying Dragon indeed! :D Looks fierce enough to be one1
