How would you like the mildest cleanser? Garnier Gentle Cleanser

 Garnier Gentle Cleanser review, photos

How many of you often skin all kind of makeups? ( I raise my hands).  But still, I love cleansing my face with a cleanser because that helps me get rid of any deep -seated dirt or the dry flakes and everything. Even though The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser is my favorite, on my make-up free days I like something lighter and Garnier Gentle Cleanser is that cleanser as of now.

I am too meticulous with cleansing and sometimes I almost behave like I am suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder ( trust me). So, I kind of try out every kind of cleanser every now and then.

Now, My experience with it: It is a very runny ( very truant, kind of trues to run off my hands) lotion. It is very very mild and if I massage it for a long time, it kind of tends to get absorbed. Now, that's something I am not too happy about. It effectively cleanses dirt and grime bit not heavy makeup or even your regular water-proof eye pencils.
What I did not understand about it is the stinging issue. Sometimes it kind of stings my eyes very badly, but at others, it does not at all and I am confused if I should say that it stings or not.

Pros:
  1. It is inexpensive.
  2. A good quantity to last you a long time.
  3. Gets rid of dirt and grime.
  4. Very mild and never broke me out.
  5. Dermatologically tested.
  6. Meant for  Face, eyes and lips which means it IS indeed mild.
Cons:
  1. For heavy make-up you still need some else.
  2. Sometimes stings the eyes.
  3. Fails to effectively remove even the basic eye makeups.
Priced at 115 Rupees for 100 ml, I am happy with it. Yet I would like to try something more too.

Do I recommend? If you are not much into makeup and freak out about keeping your skin clean, this is for you. This is meant for all skin types and I don't think women of any skin types would complain.

Shall I repurchase? I don't know.

PS: On my ' too-oily-days' I need to splash water after use in order to get rid of every speck of it.

Have you used this? How do you like it?

    1. Yes, it;s weird because sometimes it does and sometimes it just doesn't and I really don;t get why.
The hot polish is just awesome! But better not use it in the eye area

  3. I have been using Oriflame Essentials Cleanser for the past 3 years and I am pretty happy with it. Removes make up also very effectively, has a lingering fragrance too. So I have never thought of trying anything else...

    1. I totally agree with you Preetha. Even I hate Garnier facewashes which is the reason why it took me so long to try this one
