A few days ago I had shared a product -launch news from BH Cosmetics about their new Day and Night Palette. The palette had 60 shades!! No kidding! 30 meant for the day and 30 for night. No wonder even youtube makeup and beauty junkies have been had been going gaga about it. This is how the palette looks like
My first reaction was like my mum's-- " Somebody sent you a box of chocolates!!" Yay!! I love chocolates and this palette gave me the same pleasure. Alright, I'm rambling.
This is how it looks like: A very sleek and portable casing
Now my precious!
How the brand describes it:
This one's for the working gals and studious girls! 30 eyeshadows are soft and sophisticated for day wear, and 30 glamorous shades are perfectly picked to layer and complement your day look for when the sun goes down. These 60 shades are in both matte and shimmer finishes. Many of the day shades are neutral and pastel, allowing you to create a fun & flirty look. The night shades are deep, royal, and jewel-toned, allowing you to create a trendy Fall/Winter smoky eye.
How I describe it: ( Quality and Texture)
What went great:
It's a very sleek and compact palette that is very portable. The shadows are well thought of. 60 shades-- I don't know what more to expect from this one. From matte to pearls, from white to light beige and fuchsia to deep night-sky blue, the shades seem abundant. At least, I cannot find a flaw.
My thoughts on the texture and quality: Of the 60 shades, about three or four are very hard and not at all pigmented. I tried even scraping them with my nails and even then, nothing would show up. But the rest, more especially the night shades are soft and highly pigmented.
The shades are extremely blend-able and can be intensified.
The pinks and coral cluster in the day shades is great for the cheeks too. ( I do sometimes interchange my blushes and shadows-- multi-tasking what you would call)
The colors stay out for quite sometime even on my oily lids.
What did not go that well:
They have some amount of fall out which is not exactly noticeable, but nothing I would exactly ignore either. For the love I have for this palette had this fared perfect that way, I would have rated it exactly 10 upon 10 .

Overall , for $14, I cannot really complain. I am loving this palette. I'm impressed with the amount of thought the brand has given to the minute details
And I couldn't resist shooting my eyes before heading out to a party. I wore this with a deep ble and magenta patterned outfit. let me know how you like it

I did this exclusively with the shadows from this palette . If you want, I shall come up with a tute. it's the easiest one IMO and does look gorgeous. I'm just using Inglot eye primer as a base. With a kohl as a base, the shade shows up insane!! But I wanted to show you as they are.
I'm planning to do a few more looks with this palette. I also have a fall day look
So, what do you think of this?
