Himalaya Anti-Dandruff Shampoo: Did I find the HG?

Dandruff is mostly the 'root of all skin evils' and trust me, I learnt it the hard way. So, I am now in my quest for my perfect anti-dandruff shampoo. Last time I picked up this one and well here are my thoughts.
There's not much to talk about if it's a shampoo especially, if it's one that did kind of fail for me. Didn't it keep the woe at bay?

The Good:
  1. Keeps dandruff at bay for two or three days.
  2. Deep cleanses the hair.
  3. Followed up by a good conditioner, the hair looks shiny and feels really soft without weighing down.
  4. Inexpensive
  5. Easily available.
What I disliked:
  1. it's completely non-moisturizing. It leaves the hair totally ripped off all the softness .
  2. A single wash won't do.
  3. On it's own, I don't think it would do a that good job at cleansing.
  4. Smells of coconut. I detest coconuty scents.
  5. Doesn't lather much.
How I use: I wash my hair with a regular shampoo ( Sunsilk, read the review here). Next, I do the second wash with this one and follow up with a conditioner.

Verdict: Even though the good things sound really good, for the drying effect and the coconuty scent, I don't think I shall repurchase

I do not know if I should really recommend or ask you to stay away. What do you think? To try or not to try?
