Maybelline Clearglow BB Stick ( Clear stick) in Fawn

 Maybelline Clearglow  BB Stick
Have you ever loved a product too much? And then, if you have loved a product just too much and then found they do not have the right shade for you what would you feel? I wanted to actually throw a stone! Yes, I wanted to get that violent!! LOL!! ( Not literally)

Right when these beautiful stick made their appearance I tried them out. I loved them! But to my dismay, even though the product itself is just AWESOME! The selection of shades is just too pathetic. Seriously how
do you expect to reach out all kind of skintones with only two shades?

My experience: Ever since it was launched, I wanted this and my wish came true. I got the shade called Fawn. I was delighted on receiving it and even though the stick looked tad dark and orange on my skintone, I thought may be it would be alright once I blend it in.
Blending was just breeze and since it;s oil-free, I loved the texture. But then, it is really well pigmented which is indeed something I would love in my BB stick. But then downside is that, my face looks way too darker. :(
The acne marks are covered quite nicely, but since it's a wrong shade match, everything went wrong. :(
Anyway, except for the shade here is everything you might want to know about it

Pros:
  1. Oil-free and it's true!
  2. Quite pigmented. Good enough to hide minor blemishes.
  3. Did not break me out at all!
  4. Blends just too nicely!
  5. Affordable. The stick is quite big. for 250 INR, it's a steal!!!
  6. Nice and convenient packaging.

Maybelline BB Stick in Fawn in placed next to Tips and Toes makeup stick which is lightly lighter on my skin
Cons
  • Only two shades. Most of the Indian women are darker then the lightest( Radiance) and a substantial are lighter than the Fawn .
This is the only con and the biggest con and the sole con and I would like to go on.

Last Word:
This is a great product especially for oily skinned beauties, provided you find your match. If you don't, don;t try because everytime you see this, you would let out a sigh regretting Maybelline made a shade for you. Fwn should be a good match for skintones NC44-45

As for myself, since I like the product, I am thinking of buying the radiance and mixing up the two while I put on. I won't mind.

I seriously would like to plead Maybelline to introduce more shades between!

Product by the brand. Honest opinion
