Nivea Lip Butters work as good as they smell! Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream and Raspberry Rose

I had promised you an abundance of lipbalm reviews over here and yes, I am taking baby steps towards that direction.I had seen rave reviews of Nivea Lipbutters on youtube. So, when these were launched in India, my curiosity knew no bounds. Added to that, the rave reviews ( sometimes mixed reviews) made my head swim! Some time ago, I realized, I had gone through almost all of my potted lipbalms ( I have a thing for them).

Plus, seeing my cherryculture lip balm becoming shorter every day, I got into the panic mode and went off to purchase quite a few lip balms! Yes, I cannot stop at one. At first, I got the Raspberry Rose at it
smells delicious! I think, had it a stronger smell, I would double it up as a solid perfume. :P

My experience: The balms are waxy in a good way. These are intensely moisturizing and removes dry flakes. I apply a thick coat at night and in the morning, I am left with beautiful soft lips having wiped the flakes off. They stay on and on unless, you lick or keep pursinng your lips.

Warning! These are addictive! I can't help bunching my lips upwards trying to sniff. :P

Don't they look yummy?

The Raspberry Rose: OMG!! It's not an overpowering rose scent. But it distinctly smells of roses and the cloyingly sweet smell is balanced by the light refreshing scent of raspberry. In short, it is a perfect balance. I hate rose scents in perfumes. But this twist makes it a wonderful feel good product.

Caramel Cream: It smells of Caramel and cream and delicious and yet not overpowering. What not to love about it?

    1. Yes,abroad, Nivea's lip balms are sold as Labello. I have tried a shimmery one. I liked the balm, but detested the whitish shimmers in it.
