Nivea Firming Body Lotion Q10 energy+ : Real or gimmick?

Not very long time ago, I had located the Nivea Q10 range in a mall. The 'firming' tag caught my attention and ever since, I wanted to try. Ever since my illness, I have gained weight, lost much of my physical strength and yes, cellulite is here. Since, I am in no condition to do heavy exercises, a lazy and weak girl would definitely try resorting towards something 'firming' and I did. So, when I received this bottle, I was pretty curious. I know fitness doesn't come in a bottle; yet, I like to believe that there might be something which would assist.

Anyway, I noticed that my upper arms have become heavy and it looks undulated in places. It's not that ugly at this point, but I better take care in time. I thought, this zone would be the best for observation. So, everyday after bath, I would massage this lotion all over and I would never miss the arms.

My experience: The lotion is thicker than the regular cellular whitening variant, but more moisturizing and hydrating. Even though it is meant for normal skin type, it works very well for my dry body skin and the best part is that the effect lasts longer than the other variant. I have been using it for about two weeks now.

Result: I cannot ascertain if it's the massage, or really the ingredients, the undulations seem to have almost gone away. I can't say that it has completely helped, but I do think that it did considerably assist. That way, I am pretty surprised here because I thought it was a complete gimmick.

A thought: On researching online, I found no indication of benefits of Q10 enzyme. In fact, I found no information on the fact if it can be absorbed through skin. neither did I find any association with skin-firming effects. That way, this might be gimmicky.

Final word: I have this motto of 'whatever works for me, is good for me' unless it is causing harm. Since I did not read about any alarming effects of Q10, I am going to remain calm.

Do I recommend? If you are looking for mild toning, go with this. But remember, no cosmetic or makeup, can be a substitute for exercise. On that note, I do recommend.

Shall I repurchase? Yes. I would. It's priced the same as the other variants of the Nivea Body lotions. Hence, it's not a ton of extra dough I would be spending and it did kind of help me with mild cellulite. So, I am good.

Price and Quantity: 250 ml for 250 INR.

PR sample. Honest review.

    1. ROFL! Yes. Since I don't have requisite training, I cannot comment on the ingredients... unless I locate something which is confirmed to be harmful.
