Makeup is in galore here. I had previously never gave Oriflame much of a thought, much because I don't know a reliable agent and usually, the agents get too dodgy without actually being helpful with selections. But that is understandable. My other problem was that, it is difficult to choose a color from a brochure. I am sure, many of you have the same problem. So, when I had received Oriflame the ONE Matte

Lipsticks, I decided not only to try them out, but to do careful swatches of the same.( I am trying to feature the full collection of Oriflame's the ONE range. The Foundations, Concealers, Blushers, Eye Liner Stylos, Unlimited Lipsticks have been
reviewed and swatched before.) It's time to take a look at the Oriflame the ONE Matte Lipsticks now.

The Unlimited Lipsticks were mostly sunny, brighter colors, but  the ONE Matte Lipsticks lean more towards sombre brownish and muted tones. In general, I am not the biggest fan of dark colors, but does that mean these lipsticks won't work?

On the contrary, these lipsticks come in very wearable colors. They range from bright Raspberry Pinks to deep browns.

My Experience: These lipsticks impart full on color. All of them are equally pigmented. You would not have to wonder about the pigmentation depending on the colors.

These go over smoothly.Keeping with the 'moist velvet' trend, these are not 'powder matte', but are less moist than moist lispticks, yet, not uncomfortable. They sit smoothly on the lips and won't dry out easily.

BUT, since these are 'matte', they won't give you glossy shine. I like that because I myself, am going through a matte phase.

Priced at 449 INR, I think they are reasonable because you can find most of the cosmetics from Oriflame with discounted price.

 The only complaint I have is that,the packaging could be sturdier and not flimsy. It's the packaging which deludes the good quality of the product.

I have already done an LOTD where I wore Pink Raspberry Color.

In another post, I wore Desert Sand. It was a simple muted, everyday look with a right pop of color. Check  out the LOTD here.  Yes, yes. not having figured out the set up for selfie, I do look particularly grumpy. LOL.

There are a few shades in this line which I am loving  and I intend to show my picks in a separate post to keep my rants short and sweet.

Do I recommend? Yes. I do. But, I say, keep an eye on the brochures. You are sure to find a very good deal on these.
