The Body Shop Bouncy Sleeping Mask Review

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask review (a rave review alert).

I have been telling you how I loved The Body Shop Bouncy Sleeping Mask. Yet it took me some time to get to review it. Sometimes, as it happens, I like a product so much that I do not know where exactly to start. The same happened with The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth Serum which I am rationing now. But, since my birthday is on 13th July, and I need quick fix to get my skin to look it's best, I am going back to the serum and this mask again.

My Experience: Since I had done a detailed post on the sleepover experience, I am not going into other details. let me just start with the mask.

Texture: No, you can't bounce on it like you would on a trampoline. It's a thick gel mask which has a slightly watery-gooey consistency. It's like condensed milk.It
slides on the skin nicely. Initially, it does not get absorbed, but forms a thick moisturizing layer.

I noticed that in an hour or so, the warmth from my face, causes it to get dewy. If you touch, you can feel an oily dewy film on the skin which is not uncomfortable.

It feels great on the skin. It's instantly calming and soothing. I can actually feel that.

Result: Next morning, my skin felt a lot moisturized and healthy. As if all that was missing has bounced back and restored. But,I noticed the real effect gets visible after 24 hours. As time elapses and whatever got into the skin starts working, my skin starts looking fresher, smoother and glowy.

There is also something curious. I had used this a few times and thrice as it happened, I had break outs from acne. each time, on the next day, the breakouts popped on their own and the skin cleared up. First time, I was not sure if it were Sleeping Mask.

But, eventually I became certain.

Likes:
  • It does sooth and calm down my skin.
  • Pops the break outs and clears up the skin.
  • Restores the vitality.
  • Makes my skin look plump.
  • the effect is long-lasting.

Dislikes:
None.

Price, repurchase: Yes, it does come at a hefty price of Rs 2295 or Rs 2300 to round up. But, even a miserly person like me would suck up and repurchase. No second thoughts.

Recommendation:
Even if you are miserly like me, I would say the Drops of Youth serum and  Bouncy Sleeping Mask is a must have.

On a thought, The Body Shop puts up frequent sales. Even at 20%, this would come down to around Rs 1800 , I guess. ( Didn't calculate carefully).

Once I use this up, I am definitely repurchasing it.

Have you tried anything from The Body Shop Drops of Youth range? Have you by any chance used Bouncy Sleeping Mask? Don't forget to share your thoughts.
