Skin18.com Ben & Sera 7 Days Whitening Miracle project Serum review, photos.

You might know my cringe about using whitening products. But, the market is filled with those. I try avoid using those, but some how those would turn up in my stash. If you follow me on Facebook, you must have seen that Skin18.com had sent me some products for review. Ben & Sera Serum was included. I thought since I like using serums and since this one claims to have natural ingredients, I would rather give it a try.

From what I surmise, the serum is expected to improve overall complexion by evening out the skin
tone and restoring the skin damages. It is preservative free, free from harmful chemicals and free from fragrance.

Usage:
There was this 3 ml syringe. In the beginning, I was unsure about how to use it. I thought the entire syringe was to be used. But, once I took out some serum I realized that I need only a little and more than that, I am probably wasting the product. I massaged the serum on my face and neck and I am sure I was using too much. However, since I could not put it back from my face, I let it be and the product eventually got absorbed.

I used it a couple of times more and here is what I think of it.

What I liked:
I need only a little of the serum. The brand claims that only a drop is enough and more than that, it is just wastage and one syringe should last about 10 to 12 days. I think they they are right. Had I not wasted the initial amounts, I think the serum would have lasted that long. However, I still have one 1 ml left after about three applications which I intend to use in the right quantity.

The serum feels good on the skin. It feels gentle and nourishing -- hydrating and restoring.
On the day next, I woke up with skin looking plump, good and well-rested. But I cannot comment on the 'whitening' effect since I have not used that many times and
I am glad that I did not see any 'whitening' effect on my skin.

What I did not like:
In general, I am not a fan of whitening products and they scare me like anything.

The price is US$ 5, but they have discounts and is currently priced US$.80

Overall verdict: Ben & Sera Serum is a good skin serum which hydrates and rejuvenates the skin. It's inexpensive and I quite like it. But I am not sure if I want to repurchase because of the 'whitening' tag.
