Empties and trash: What I am getting rid of in January 2017/ Product updates

I had decided to downsize my stash. But, even though, the shopaholic is not exactly allowing me to downsize, but, I swear, I am utilizing my products more. On that note, keeping up with my Beauty Resolution of 2017, I am posting my first Empties post of 2017.

It's not a lot, but still, I am trying to get out of my rut of procrastination (I always get this spelling
wrong). Back on track, straight to the point,

So Soft Hygiene Wipes
: I found this very useful pack at my local Watsons. It's a multipurpose alcohol-free, anti-germ facial wipe. I used this along with micellar water to get rid of the last traces of of makeup and guess what, it works really well! And the size is good and it's soft and feels good on the skin.

This pack of 50 lasted me a long time. I have already got back ups. ( Showing soon on my Instagram page)

D'Acne Cleanser: It was recommended to me by my dermatologist.  I had mentioned earlier that because of hormonal imbalance, climate, etc. I got Grade III acne. This time I had to go to a dermatologist and I am still on medication.

Neautrogena Pure Mild Facial Cleanser: If you need a cleanser that is extremely mild and won't further irritate the skin, this is it. Review soon.

Bio Bloom Bath Oil: Even though I loved it, on continuous usage, I found that I was itching all over. I think there's some kind of mineral oil which did not go along well in the long run.

Wild Earth Body Lotion: Loved this one. This one smelled of divine and pure incense sticks and moisturized my body heavily.

L'Oreal Paris Gelmatic Liner in Silver; I always wanted to use it, but somehow, I was never able to get much use of it because silvers don't work well for me. This time I took it out, I found the product inside had dried and it crumbled and broke into two.

Revlon Water Tight Mascara: Not again. It's just and over-priced average mascara on which I am not spending again.

Rene Furterer Okara Shampoo: This one was a really good shampoo. I am considering a full size soon.

Moroccan Oil Light Treatment Oil: I intend to post the review. The post is ready, but the photos are not. Yes, lazy lazy me.

Some hotel shampoo and conditioners I used up. Who doesn't like those? Moreover, I keep some of the empty bottles and use those to store products while I am travelling.

Garnier BB Cream: I had run out of both.

Kama Kumkumadi Scrub: It's a very nice exfoliator. But, with my current skin situation, physical exfoliators are best avoided.

So, there we go with my January Empties. I hope you enjoyed reading this. Do share with me what you used up.

Xoxo

  2. I love reading and also doing empties post, it gives a sense of satisfaction that I use the products and do not waste them, but makeup are hard to finish except compact powders, so planning to at least finish couple of lipsticks this year.

  4. The same thing happened to my silver Gelmatic Liner as well. Even though the cap was always tightly shut on.
