L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 hour Powder Foundation| 245 Warm Sand

L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 hour Powder Foundations , I think have been reviewed by everyone on earth. However, even though I have been using this for sometime now, forming an opinion seemed difficult. Somehow, I was not able to makeup my mind about it.

Price: 1350 INR for 9 grams. In Philippines around 400 PHP ( 550 INR)

However, by now that I have hit a huge pan ( should be using up by next month actually), I thought may be it's time I reviewed this powder foundation from L'Oréal Paris which had taken the world by
rage.

My experience of L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 hour Powder Foundation:
I have the shade 245 Warm Sand. The colour, though indicates warm tones, looks more orange on my skin. However, I still can make do even though it is not a very good match.

The texture of the powder is very smooth and soft/creamy and does not kick up much dust. For a powder it does provide a nice coverage where the flaws would show through, but in a subdued manner.

These days, I mostly wear a concealer and then apply this one which makes up for the base ( no foundation). The overall finish I achieve is natural and looks like my skin.

On my oily t-zone however, within one hour or so, the oily-look comes back and after 3 or 4 hours, I find my skin, though does not look as much oily, does not look matte either. Simple dabs of tissue soaks up the oil and puts things in place without dislodging much of anything.

So, the shine resistant claim does not work here. It is neither transfer-resistant I would say, but yes, does not wear off as much as other compact powders do.

The sponge applies it with a better coverage, but I do not prefer the overall finish. I like it with brush.

It does however look slightly powdery which a good buffing or a little bronzing/contouring can take care of.

I have not tried it wet. May be I should. But getting the product wet makes the germaphobe in me squirmish.

Verdict: L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 hour Powder Foundation , as a powder foundation works fine. Provides medium coverage, more or less natural finish.

Shall I repurchase? Since I prefer using it as a setting powder or just a regular compact powder, I don't think I would shell out so much of one compact. But, I would like to check out once more to see if there's a perfect match available for me.

Do I recommend? I wouldn't say this is a 'must have', but yes, if you want a better quality compact powder or a compact powder with better coverage, go with it.

Have you used L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24 hour Powder Foundation? What do you think of these?

Until next time.
