Nivea Creme Classic

Nivea Creme Classic, photo, review, swatches
There are certain things which are timeless -- red lipstick, pearls, traditional jewellery and Nivea Creme. Yes, our very old and dear Nivea creme.
My skin is acne prone and oily. but it is super dry in winters and no matter how much of lotions and potions I put on, nothing works on the dry parched skin. two years ago, I had tried Pond's. While my skin still remained parched, it broke me out badly. My mum swears by Ponds cream but well, things work differently on different skins.

Coming back to Nivea. I wouldn't have ever put on such a heavy and thick cream on my skin. But I was desperate and got hold of a little tin and tried it on. And voila!! I have hit upon my best skin cream during rough winters!!

I dotted my entire face with the creme and started massaging. The thick cream kind of started melting up and spreading on my face leaving a comfortable feeling which is far from being sticky or heavy. This winter when the weather would become dry and harsh once again, I know I would turn to this creme for relief.

Price and Quantity: 39 INR for 30 ml. ( other sizes are also available)
What the brand claims?
The unmatched moisturiser for every skin type, for children as well as for adults and during all seasons. NIVEA Creme provides the skin with all it needs to stay pure, fresh and smooth. NIVEA Creme contains skin-related Eucerit a unique moisturising ingredient.
  • Skin compatibility dermatologically approved.

Why I like it:
1) It is very rich and keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day in winter.
2) My skin is acne prone. So, however dry it may be, I have to be careful about what I put on. Even though the cream is too rich, it did not break me out.
3) It kind of gives a good feeling on my skin as if my skin is liking it. My skin kind of feels soothed after dryness.
4) It's inexpensive in the sense you need a small quantity.
5) Various sizes are available. You can try this small 30 ml tin so that if it does not suit you, you would not feel your hard earned money being wasted.

Why I dislike it:
Not exactly I dislike but
1) It contains mineral oil which might not suit everybody. Indeed there are a few people who do not like it because they were allergic to the ingredients. So, keep this in mind,.
2) There is no complete list of ingredients

Shall I repurchase? I already did and I would keep buying this over and over again.
Do I recommend? Yes. But only if you are NOT allergic to mineral oil.

have you used this or do you know anybody who have used this? What's your idea?
