Lumiere Cosmetics Eyeshadow ( loose eye pigments)

I wonder how much I have changed in course of time when it comes to makeup. When I was in college, which was not more than three years ago, all I owned was a Lakme eyeshadow Duo. When I went to the University, I got 4 Lakme eye pencils as GWP. And now, er.... I wont tell you. I know many of you posses more than me. But by my  definition what I have is more than 'much' or 'many'. Because these days I noticed that I am using eye makeup ( apart from  black liner) whenever I'm going out. Even some colored liner is a must. Recent addition to my collection is Lumiere Eyeshadows.

I had not used too much of mineral makeups before. So, really don't ask me to compare with brands.

What I found:
1) The colors are true to what they seem like in the pot.
2) You need only a wee bit of it. A light touch with your eyeshadow brush and it's enough for the whole of your eyelid.
3) Even without base it stays put for a really long time say 7 or 8 hours on my oily lid easily without fading provided you blend it properly.
4) These are quite cheap for mineral makeup. A large jar of 2 grams would cost you $8 which is 400 rupees. the reason why call it cheap is 2 grams should last you a few months easily even if used very frequently.
5) These are mineral makeup . So, these should not irritate your sensitive skin.
6) I am impressed because Lumiere does not make tall claims which they have clarified in their website itself. They claim no curative etc property. The only claim is that these are mild and good quality.
7) true to their claim, without primer they stay put for a long time.
8) Did not crease.
9) Very nicely pigmented

What more do I expect from an eye shadow? miracle? :P

Overall I am impressed. Lumiere Cosmetics ships everywhere and the cost is quite low.

Downside which I am not at all liking:

They would post through US Postal which means you should expect your products to reach through India Post only which is not really good for us. the residents of India know why. This is a  huge con for us.

Shall I (re) purchase? I would like to. I would love to try their other beautiful shades. I envy the American friends who would so easily get hold of these. I would like to try their lip products too sometime.
Do I recommend? Totally. I have worn these so many time. I would love to do an EOTD with these. wait till the weekend.

Price: $8 for 2 grams. you get 10% off if you purchase more than one at a time. They also have offers running every now and then which are quite lucrative. Like, a refill with a full size pot.
In case you go wrong, they also have sample baggies.

I had also reviewed their foundation. You can check the review here

The sample was sent to me by the PR. But that has not affected my opinion
