I know you would be wondering what made me try Ayur of all brands? Well, I have used their cold cream and I pretty much like it. When I had walked into a store, the little tube caught my attention. Initially I thought it was a gel for massage or something and might be good.
But 'Oh my buttons!'
Even though it's a small tube, it took me months to finish up because I hated it and on one fine morning, just squeezed out everything on a loofah and used up as a body wash.
What got me in the snare? The word 'gel'. I don;t know why that word makes me crave for things. Added to it, the lemon and Honey and Tea Tree Oil.
What did I hate about it? Everything. Where do I begin?
* Do you remember a detergent soap called OK that was sold when we were little? It smells exactly like that which is reason enough to put me off. A nostalgia doesn't always make things perfect.
* It kind of dried up my skin in not a very good manner.
* Did nothing for the claims.
In short it's just so wrong.

- It has little colorful tiny beads which are very few in number, yet good to look at.
I think this little post says it all and you can definitely see , for me, it's a product I would just give a pass!
Hawwww. Let's beat the pulp out of his :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I wish I could! :D
DeleteLol... Ok soap.... It feels bad when things simply refuse to work. I too never had good experiences with ayur. Uuuffff their toner :(
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me of it! I had tried that one years ago when I was in school. In stead of preventing pimples, it gave me a couple right on the next day. I even wondered why did they add pink color to it?
DeleteWhat a disappointment! I don't think anyone in her sane mind would get this now. What to do with the colorful beads if the gel itself stinks. Thanks for sharig :) x
ReplyDeleteExactly! Perhaps, I can say this is what happens when I buy stuff without searching for reviews. :P
DeleteHi Nivedita, I don't think any product from Ayur is worth buying.

Another miss ! I once bought an ayur herbal shampoo, used it once and then threw it right away.
ReplyDeleteagh! Going by their 'reetha' tag, I was about to give in. But now, as far as I am concerned, I am steering clear of this brand, except for their cold creams
Deletelol...nice one gal.....
ReplyDelete:D It was my honest feeling!
DeleteOK detergent!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteDud product. Not worth, i would say
Exactly! Unless I want to feel clean like our clean clothes. ok, that was a poor joke :P
Deletei shall stay away from it too, thank Nivedita
ReplyDeletei will stay away!!
ReplyDeletehi hi funny........ i like their aloe vera cream and cleansing milk.. and a rosemary shampoo....

ReplyDeleteI don;t know if the other variants are good. But this one was surely a let down
