I had promised to do a monthly most used products. Why I usually don't do a besties is because of the fact, with changing weather, my skincare regime changes. Still, I could come up with some basics I think.
FYI: My facial skin tends to be combination to oily and my hands and feet are pretty dry
So, here is my last month's most used products
1 Vaseline Moisture cream: Cheap but effective. I sue it all over my body. Also, as recommended, I sometimes use it around my mouth esp the corners since my skin is becoming very dry and flaky because of the treatment I am undergoing.
2 Yardley lavender Face wash: Washes off most of my makeup even the waterproof ones to some extent. May be the oils in it are the angels. But, since it's not my skin type, it;s not my HG either.
3 Biotique Lipbalm in Aloevera: I am using up this lipbalm underneath the matte lipsticks to make them feel a bit more creamy. The SPF added does a good job during the day time. I mean, I did not see anything different, but it; comforting to know.
4 Pond's TM: review coming up soon.
5 Lotus herbals Suncreen in SPF 70+++ : Hides most of my blemishes ( don't know how) , makes my skin brighter and yes! Does protect from the sun including keeping it free from tan
6 Avon Strawberry Lipbalm: Had already been rounded up. I love it.
7 Just Herbs Sanface pack: The best facepack so far this year. Apart from all the good things, it divine smell of chandan or sandalwood calms my senses. It has a feel good factor as well
8 Biotique Cumumber Water Toner: Review soon.
9 The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser: I am using this to removed the dry flakes from my skin. Clean up the flakes I got from blepheritis ( my eye infection)
VLCC Skin Defense Moisturizer: The one which has set out to be my bestie this year. it is taking care of my acne and pimples. Oil-free and non-comodogenic, oily skinned girls might give this a try. You would not regret.
11: Auravedic Hand and Body lotion:: Review soon
12: Himalaya Herbals Neem Face Wash: I am always repurchasing this one. I have been using this for the last umm 4 years and have no plans to replace.
Nice picks! Will sure try some of these :) x

Oh sure Namita. Just give me a day. I am insanely busy for a few days right now :(
DeleteI love the neem face wash too :) and the avon strawberry is so yummy na?? Will try the vaseline total moisture :)
ReplyDeleteExactly my thoughts! I have been using the wash and the pack for so many years and I still so love it! Hahah, I think the strawberry one is also one of the best lip balms available. It cleanses my lips of all the flakes.

ReplyDeleteI was planning on getting the Yardley lavender Face wash, but then I have oily skin which has gotten combination type and super sensitive due to acne medication. Will it be helpful?

Namita <3
I don;t think I would recommend it for oily skin since it is NOT meant for such skin types. I would rather suggest you to try the Himalaya Neem Facewash.
