Only women who have oily-acne-prone skin like mine would know how difficult it is to find a facewash that might work for you. For ages, Himalaya Herbals Neem Facewash had been my favorite. But I still want to venture out since I get easily bored. In order to do that, I had bought this one and after two or three washes, it had been snugly sitting around until I delved it out of my skincare cupboard.
To begin with, Lotus is all hits and misses for me. While I love their professional range, their scrubs and sunblocks ( which I had repurchased tons of times), some products were complete duds for me.
Anyway, this is my experience:
My experience: It's a slippery gel that has the tendency to slip and slide through your fingers and thereby you waste quite a bit unless you are being cautious. On the face, it feels slippery, it you try lathering up directly,=. But if you lather it into your palms and massage it around, it works really good. I won't say it takes off all the makeups etc, but it does a good job at cleansing without making the skin extremely dry.
The best part I love the 'neem slices' in it. I don;t know if it's the real neem, but if you crush them, they break down. Another, it doesn't strip off the oil on your skin. For oily skin, YES! That's an advantage, if you strip off all the moisture, your skin would become way more oily actually
I did not see anything drastic on me, but I won't say it's bad either since it did not irritate my skin.
So, here we go.
If you are looking for something for regular usem this might be a good choice. But do not expect a miracle from this.
