Most of you know the importance of cleaning off all your makeup before going to bed. But, most of us, sometimes neglect it. Now, I have found my ritual of cleansing focusing mainly on the eyes.
You must know I am no big spender . But I do make sure to take off every trace. Here is now I do it.
Step 1: The Melt Down: Oil. I use pure coconut oil and gently rub in on my eyes. Even the most stubborn makeup would
dissolve into the oil. I gently massage it around so that everything just melts down.
Step 2: Wash it off: With my regular face wash I wash my face and it gets rid of all the oil, the dissolved makaeup , etc and my face looks clean.
Step 3: Wait. Your eyes are not as clean as they look. On a cotton pad, I take The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser and then gently wipe my eyes. Tra-la!! You would be surprised at the amount of gunk it took off. The greatest ease of using a cotton pad is that, you can fold it and clean off your water-line as well.
You can use any eye makeup remover of your choice.
Put on some eye gel or eye cream and you are good!
My ritual is simple, cost effective without any expensive product per se and does help. If you have clouding which you may suspect you are getting from makeup residue, try this. Everything would be normal again in a while. Plus the coconut oil is good for your skin as well.
