My must have skincare products and good products for combination acne-prone skin: The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream, The Body Shop Drops of Youth Serum, The Body Shop Bouncy Sleeping Mask, Garnier BB Cream, Pond's BB Cream, Pond's BB Cream.
My YouTube watching addiction and another bout of cold has gotten me offline for sometime. But, the good news is that, I have done some shootings for posts I really care about! Like this one! Since you know that my skin is oily in summer and extremely dry in winter and added to it, there's acne. The perks of being a beauty-blogger is that, I do get to try so many products and in different combinations. Over the past couple of years, I noticed that there are a few products which always make their way.My skincare must haves ( One product is missing in this photo. Check on the next) |
This time, I have come across expensive ones which I think are really worth the money spent. At least, even though I would feel the pocket pinch, I know I would not regret splurging. Let me start,
Apologies for the over-exposed photos. |
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Serum: I love this serum! It puts back moisture and health! my skin feels 'healthy'. It not only calms my skin, but my skin feels plump and soft and I think, combined with the Clean and Clear Skin Balancing Moisturizer, it works perfectly!
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask: I know this seems like an all TBS post, but it's really not. Honestly, this mask is just wonderful! I am geared up for winter now. I am not longer afraid of dry skin any more.
Clean & Clear Skin Balancing Moisturizer: I don't know why I never tried this moisturizer when I was younger. It has salicylic acid which is not present in strong percentage to irritate my skin, but good enough to help with acne. More than on its own, it works amazing with The Body Shop Drops of Youth Serum.
Even if I am not using it with the serum, I use it underneath other skin-creams now.
Pond's White Beauty BB Cream: Medium coverage. Yellow enough to suit my skintone. Withstand heat, sweat, rain... in short, come rain or sunshine, Pond's white beauty BB Cream stays on. With SPF30 PA ++, on most of the days when I do not have time to do elaborate skincare and makeup rituals, this is just one product which saves my day. When I am tanned, a bit of bronzing/contouring fixes everything.
Garnier BB Cream: it has some SPF. Salicylic acid, stays on for considerable period. Feels good on the skin. Makes me look fresh. My skin still keeps looking like my skin. Need I another reason to love it? No.
So, amongst the crowd of skincare products which come and go, these are constant in my kit and would keep remaining the same until further notice. LOL. :D
I also have my makeup staples. You can should check out those.
That's it ladies. Let me know what you think.
