VLCC Almond Under eye Cream for dark circles, price, review.
You must have known that I am always battling under eye darkness. No, it's not simply pigmentation.VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream |
It's because I mostly don't sleep well. When I do, the circles go away and I start looking awake. VLCC products mostly work for me. I have used quite a few of their products and I have been happy so
far. So, when I saw the Almond Under eye cream, I wanted to give it a go!
Price: Rs 125 for 15 ml.
Claims to reduce dark circles and puffiness.
My experience of VLCC Almond Under eye Cream:
The texture of the VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream is not goopy, but, it feels like solidified butter. It spreads nicely under the eyes and moisturizes the area well. In fact, it gets rid of the dry patches under the eyes in a jiffy! I don't get much puffiness. So, can't comment on that.VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream |
But, what did not work for me is the lack of hydration. My skin loves hydration. The under eye area requires not only moisturization, but hydration as well, and this is where it did not do well.
It did not 'get rid' of my dark circles, but, it definitely eased the discomforts of dryness which is commendable.

Final Word: It is a decent under eye cream which moisturizes, but does not hydrate much. Still, it's not a bad one to have. Yet, it is not a must have for all.

I am currently using an under eye gel from Aroma Magic. I shall be updating you shortly if it has been effective.
Do you suffer from under eye circles? How to you tame the dark monsters? Please share your experience or thoughts. It would help me a lot.
I use my natural sweet almond oil and it does a good job in hydrating under eye area :)
ReplyDeleteAh! I have a bottle of it lying around. Shall put it to use then.
DeleteI don't have much of dryness but I have very bad dark circles.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's similar to my problem.
DeleteI liked this one. But I have to say that when I had a pea amount left, it became like a dough in the winters and started crumbling when I tried to apply it! Did it happen to you as well?
ReplyDeleteI used up both during the onset of winter. So, no clue. But since you mention, I am not buying it during the colder times. :P
