Himalaya Herbals fairness Kesar face Pack, photo, review, price.
In my usual style, I tend to forget reviewing products I use the most because they become such a part of my life that I tend to stop noticing them until I need asecond one. This is the case of Himalaya Herbals Kesar face Pack. I had stayed
away from the fairness face packs. But, on realizing Himalaya Herbals puts mud
in their face packs and they kind of feel the same for me, I went ahead and I am
glad that I did. I am going to keep it short because I don't have an epic to write.

Price: Rs 70 for 50 gm.
My Experience of Himalaya Herbals Fairness Face Pack:
The product is clay based and goes over very smoothly. It looks saffronishorange-yellow. The texture, as I said is quite smooth. A thin layer on the skin feels good. It does not have any significant scent... at least, I could not discern any. But, to be honest, I prefer mild fragrance because I have tried products without fragrance whatsoever and they mostly stink! At least, I cannot stand the scent.

Result?
Here is the best part. The pack absorbs extra oil, feels like it draws out
impurities, exfoliates mildly ( don't expect it to replace your scrub), takes off
dullness related to sun exposure and my skin, in short feels wonderful. Of course
I have to follow up with a good moisturizer.
I would normally use it about twice a week, sometimes more. It keeps my acne in control and overall skin in good health.
Sorry. The messy tube. |
You can see from the tube that it was well loved and I want to go out for a second one. Since I have quite a few face packs in my stash which I need to use up in the next few months, I might want to wait before I get another one. But, surely, it
is in my repurchase list and I don't have second thoughts about that.
What about you? Have you used Himalaya Herbals Fairness Kesar face Pack? Do you like mud based face packs? Share your thoughts please. They make my day.

ReplyDeletenow that it's Beauty at times approved - I'll go ahead
Hahahaha! I have noticed that most mud based face packs work well for me. I hope you like it as much as I did.
DeleteLove this face pack.It works well for my skin.
ReplyDeleteGood to see I am not the only one.
DeleteI remember using this face pack a couple of years ago! On my skin, it gives a mild tingling sensation for a minute or two and then subsides. It used to be my favorite face pack for the oil-clearing properties. I somehow forgot to re-stock it. I think I'll be needing a pack for this summer!
ReplyDeleteWell reviewed, Nivedita!
On my skin sometimes it does, some times it does not. Usually, I am not able to discern the sensation. Yes, the way it cleans the skin is beautiful.
DeleteThank you Lancy.
Great review! I'm getting this once I finish my current face pack!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mariam. I hope you try and love it too.
DeleteThis sounds nice. How would you say it fares against Himalaya neem face wash?
ReplyDeleteI am not exactly sure what you mean because I don't know if I would be comparing a face wash against a face pack. But, in the same regimen, it can get a little drying. In that case a good moisturizer can benefit even better.
DeleteSounds pretty impressive! Looks like you've found a real keeper.
ReplyDeleteYes. For everything it is and it does, it's really impressive. :)
