Olay Total Effects 7-in-one Anti-Ageing Night Cream review

Olay Total Effects Night Cream price, ingredients,

If you find my photos are looking a bit weird, please bear with me. I got a new
camera and I am still figuring out the setting and all. In the meantime, I wanted to review Olay Total Effects Anti Ageing Night Cream.

I have been using Olay products for some time. And, in a bid of decluttering, I am going berserk, pulling out products and BAM BAM! Trying to use up as fast as I can.( I have reviewed their 7-in-1 cream+Serum duo before and the light weight version of the day cream here.) It's the peak of summer with temperature soaring up till 41 degree Celsius and I am trying to figure out if I am being boiled, roasted or grilled. My skin feels a bit shiny on the surface and I think, that
I am way past 25 is now evident and I am taking this as a cue of taking better care of my skin. So, I am looking at anti-ageing creams.

50g costs 799 INR. Yes, expensive. :(

Water, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Isohexadecane, Dimethicone, Isopropyl,
Polyacrylamide, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Stearyl Alcohol, Sucrose
Polycottonseedate, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cetyl Alcohol,
Behenyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Titanium Dioxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Dimethiconol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Ethylparaben, Laureth-7, Fragrance, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, PEG-100 Stearate, Propylparaben, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Stearic Acid, Disodium EDTA, BHT, Zinc Oxide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ammonium Polyacrylate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane

My Experience of Olay Total Effects Night Cream:

The cream is thick in texture, but surprisingly, it does not feel heavy. It is quite rich, but in a good way which feels nice on the skin. I would take about a pea size, dot it all over my face and neck and then start massaging. It feels that the cream is getting absorbed and no, it does not get completely absorbed, but does not remain sticky either. In the morning, my skin feels fresh and rejuvenated. It looks supple and moisturized.

I do not know if it 'firms' anything because thankfully, I am not in that situation ...yet.

  • Rich and thick, but not heavy.
  • Feeks good on the skin.
  • Moisturizes well.
  • Does not break me out.
  • Relieves the inner dryness of maturing skin.
  • Skin feels and looks supple.
  • Overall betterment of skin texture.
  • Availble in most of the cosmetics stores.

Verdict: Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing Night Cream is a very effective one for maturing skin. I would recommend it to everyone nearing 30 who might need to start taking special care to ward of evil skin ageing related to dryness. Even  oily skinned beauties who need to start with the products, should give it a try.

But, if you are anything around 25, this is not the cream for you. It might be too heavy. Give the Himalaya Herbals Night Cream a try in that case.

Shall I repurchase? Yes. I would.

Have you used Olay Total Effects Night Cream? What is your experience of the product? What anti-ageing creams work the best for you? Leave a comment below. Until then,

  1. This cream sounds good for mature skin. :)

    1. It is. I think anyone over 25 could actually benefit.

  2. This cream sounds good for mature skin. :)

  3. I too use this cream and I love it !! It gets a wee bit heavy during summers so I just use it alternate nights

    1. Alternate days is a good idea. Though, since I have been occasionally switching on AC because of the heatwave, it protected against skin drying.

  4. This sounds like a great cream for ageing skin.

    1. It is definitely going to ward off skin damaging, as I felt.
