Elovera Cream: A solution to everything? Oh yeah! ALMOST!!

Elovera Cream review, photo I have a strange skin type. It's super oily in summer and as the weather becomes a bit dry, it turns very stretchy and dull and DRY!!! Lately I noticed even The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream was failing to provide the moisture I need at times. So, I ultimately went over to my druggist and got hold of this cream which I had used a very long time ago.

What's this? It's nothing fancy and definitely not your regular cosmetic product which you can get in a drugstore. Even though it's not a medicine per se, you get it mostly at the chemists' shop.

They call it skinsurance. Yes, the age old lacto calamine. This potion has been around for centuries. Well, that does not mean the same brand. It was used for various curative purposes until it was declared by US Food and Drug Corporation ( I think) to have no relevant truth. but then. 10 years laters they amended it and it has been used for mild skin infections, poison ivy, etc. Women swear by it as a cure to acne and zits, to even out the skin tone etc.

FYI: Zince Oxide is chemically called calamine and this is a natural sunscreen
Coming back to it, I have always had this lotion for the six or seven years. Since my skin is acne prone and is prone to break outs, when nothing else works for me I turn to this lotion.

Price: 120 ml for 72 INR. Smaller variants are also available

I get obsessed with certain things. I had this shoe obsession before it grew into makeup obsession. Now that I am saturated with makeup stuff, I think I am slowly rolling back to shoes again. I think I have some 9 or 10 pair of shoes. I know it's not a big number. But the point is, I am also constantly getting rid of them because our apartment is small and storing an arsenal is a big problem.
Anyway, during Pujo, I bought a pair of spiked sandals for everyday use.

Himalaya Herbals Fairness face pack

Well, to begin with, I do not believe in 'fairness products' because you really cannot cheat your genes . A naturally dark person can never become white and I personally feel 'fairness' products are very racist and a method of marginalizing and bullying dark skinned people, another aspect of colonization. So, be proud to have what you have.
But, I have my own definition of fairness which is blemish free, tan free, bright and radiant skin which is always good to look at and makes head turn. So, I normally stay away from 'fairness' products. but when I was sent this product and decided to give it a try, it really satisfied me because it lived up to my own definition of 'fairness'.
