These days I am trying to get out of a rut. I am so in a makeup rut! I don't feel like putting on too much of makeup. I automatically reach out for nude lips and mostly go with very natural no-makeup makeup look. May be I need spice in my life!
Price: INR 850 for .025 gm
( May be I should post my current go-to makeup look?)
I had earlier reviewed Burnished Brown and it's turn to swatch the Blue Sapphire. What I am mostly doing is just lining the upper lid with the blue , lower one with black and then loads of mascara. That way, it looks natural go-to with just a zing of colour. The blue is a rich, royal blue which looks beautiful on the eye. It defines almost like a black liner only with the mild hint of colour.
Since it has fine shimmer, it creates a duo-chrome effect which adds dimension even on bare lid which is extremely useful I think. Even in hurry, I don't have to worry about anything else.
Like the other one, this is NOT smudge-proof.
That being said, I think the price is too steep for what it does. Maybelline and L'Oreal has same kind of product which comes in bigger quantity, is smudge-proof and definitely cheaper.
Verdict: While Lakme Illuminate and Shine Absolute Precision Eye pencil in Sapphire Blue is a gorgeous royal blue, for the quantity and staying power, I think I would rather look at Lakme's Ikonic Range.
Shall I repurchase? No.
Have you tried this range of eye liner pencils from Lakme? Let me know what you think.
